ACADEMIC POSTER PRINTING MADE EASY!
At Vivid Print, we’ve made the job of printing academic posters easy and stress free. Simply create your poster using Powerpoint, Keynote, Pages, Illustrator, Photoshop or Publisher and upload your file - we’ll take care of the rest!
With Vivid, there are no print service fees, analyst charges or divers to download. To top it all off, when paying with speedcode your poster is delivered right to your office or lab free of charge.
ACADEMIC PRICING
Student Matte $2.50/sq ft
Student Satin $5.00/sq ft
Pricing is per square foot plus wastage. We print on rolls 24, 36 and 60 inches wide with about a .25” unprintable edge. Minimum charge is $15 on matte and $20 on satin/gloss per piece.
Our pricing is based on print-ready artwork. Your file must be setup at 100% and follow our tech specs.
You must be a staff member or currently registered student of one of the following institutions: University of Alberta, MacEwan, NAIT, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Cancer Board and Edmonton Public Schools. Print must be for academic purposes only.
Satin is recommended for pieces with full ink coverage and when drymounting.
FINISHING + SERVICES
Colour test strip $5 (student paper)
Laminating (matte/satin/gloss) $5/sq foot
Drymounting $5/sq ft for 3/16” fomecor or $8/sq ft for 3/8”
Design $18.75/quarter hour
Delivery U of A Campus/Alberta Health Services Free
Delivery Metro Edmonton $10/address
Rush $20/piece, subject to availability + must be picked up at Vivid Whyte

Same-day = submit your file before 10am and your print will be ready that same day after 5pm
Next-day = submit your file after 10am and your print will be ready after 10am the next business day

Next-day = submit your file before 10am and it will be ready for pickup, or will be delivered, the next business day after 12 noon. Delivery is to U of A Campus offices, which you specify when submitting.
You will be contacted via email as soon as your prints are ready. Allow an extra day for any estimating, design, production, laminating or mounting.

PAYMENT
We accept cash, debit, visa, mc, amex, and U of A Speedcodes. Speedcode is required if delivery to campus is chosen.
MATTE for pieces with mainly text and not full ink coverage
SATIN good choice for pieces with images, bold colours and more
ink coverage
