Raymond Biesinger is an illustrator and artist based in Montréal, Canada, who spent a long time in that country’s west. He likes concepts, making music, politics, Instagram, 19th century bird’s eye view panoramic maps, and a mix of minimalism and maximalism. He deploys physical things, electronic means, complex geometry and a BA in European and North American political history to make his images, and has been lucky to do so since the year 2000 in over 1000 projects on five continents. Also on his plate? Playing guitar and singing in the noise garage art duo the Famines and emitting a dystopian creative studio webcomic Studiozeit every once in a while.
