Oleander

Pretty, pink and poisonous. Bee Waeland’s Oleander takes one of the world’s most beautiful toxic plants and gives it a cheerful geometric makeover. Flowers, leaves and stems are rebuilt from circles, curves and simple shapes in soft pink, orange, green and yellow.

There’s nothing sinister-looking about this one, which is rather the point. Oleander’s colourful flowers hide a highly poisonous plant beneath all that prettiness. Part of Bee’s Beautiful and Deadly series, celebrating botanicals with a dangerous side.
